Wayne
of "Dreamquest Bengals" put a lot of work into designing his
own site, but needed some help in a few areas.
The original site (left) was
put together using a custom made theme and had page
transition effects. The sites title and links were regular
text.
After several modifications,
his new site features frames for his title, navigation, and
a frame for each individual page. |
Wayne's
title, originally text, was made into an attractive custom
designed image (right), featuring black chrome overlaid with
a glossy plastic wrap, brought very nicely up away from the
background with a shadow affect. The image was then made to
blend in almost seamlessly with his textured background. |
The
navigation frame (left) was put together with custom made
links which have lighting effects as the mouse is moved over
each image, surrounded by a complimentary background and
framing.
Other modifications include the
site's domain name listed at the top with a smooth wave
design and a hit counter inserted at the bottom.
As part of the site's rebuild,
a custom script was inserted which gives the scrollbars
(right) a unique look that compliments and helps complete
the site. |
To
make Wayne's site both attractive and user friendly, basic
text navigation was included on each page. This allows
viewers who's browsers do not support frames or java scripts
to still be able to easily navigate this site. |
The
end result is a professional user friendly and attractive
web site, which has been complimented on several times by
viewer's rave reviews.
Each page's theme, transition
effects, photos, and text content are Wayne's own work.

It was an absolute pleasure to
work with Wayne on his site. He was very enthusiastic and
informative throughout the whole redesign process.
I also owe him a debt of
gratitude for believing in me enough to not only rebuild his
site, but go on to post a very nice message promoting my
business in a Bengals newsgroup, allowing me to continue
working on many more sites.
Thank you
very much Wayne! |
